Hacienda De La Sierra is known for it's happy hour including low cost food and margaritas, but is also a great family dining restaurant in the Lake Tahoe area. Vacationers mentioned the happy hour makes it a great place to meet locals as you wait for your dinner. Some mentioned Hacienda De La Sierra has decent food with typical taco and burrito fare, with meals averaging under $8. Of note are their Shrimp Fajitas with generous portions of shrimp. Also try their delicious Fried Banana desert. The staff is also very friendly and should make for a good time at a very reasonable price.
