Le Bistro's Tiger Prawn
Le Bistro - Incline Village
Wed, 31 Dec 1969
Le Bistro is considered a hidden gem among restaurant goers who have been going there for years and note it consistently excellent. This French cuisine dinging offers a small relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Fresh flowers and real linens mark a restaurant that is both an upscale and classy European bistro perfect for two. Some venture even to say that it ranks a top lifetime dining experience that makes the trip to Lake Tahoe worth it alone. Le Bistro's staff has been described as refined, responsive, engaging and attentive.
Overall, meals are delicious and inventive expressions served in artful portion sizes. Recommended is the five-course "pri-fix" menu. Some features are the tiger prawn cocktail, smoked salmon, and tournedos of beef. Most find the seafood selection flavorful and satisfying.
Heading up the vision and direction of Le Bistro is chef and owner Jean-Pierre Doignon. Already having a very decorated career as chef, he makes everything himself, using organically grown ingredients, and changes the menu regularly.
Although this restaurant experience might clash with some tastes, if you enjoy upscale, artful dining, Le Bistro might just be worth checking out for your special evening. Just be sure to book ahead as they only offer 2 seatings per night.
